Hello, and thank you for checking out my website!
I am a current teacher for the Phoenix Union High School District. I am passionate about making music education and performance accessible to everyone.
My work in music started in 2014 when I joined the Phoenix Youth Symphony's high-level performance ensembles. Since then, I've parlayed my performance skills into professional regional, state, and national-level ensembles of wind band, symphony orchestra, and chamber percussion ensemble.
I graduated magna cum laude from the University of Arizona in May 2022 with a degree in Music Performance. I obtained a music teaching certificate from the Arizona Department of Education in December 2022. I am also currently a section percussionist of the Arizona Wind Symphony and Glendale Community College Community Band, two community wind ensembles based in the greater Phoenix area comprised of professional wind and percussion musicians in the valley.
When I am not teaching or drumming, you can safely guess that I am either watching films or spending my money on vinyl at the record store!
